U.S. claims Iran has captured second oil tanker

The US Navy claims Iran has seized a Panama-flagged oil tanker in the Strait of Hormuz, the second such capture in recent weeks. Released footage reportedly shows the tanker, identified as the Niovi, surrounded by Iranian Revolutionary Guard vessels. The Iranian ships ‘forced the oil tanker to reverse course and head toward Iranian territorial waters off the coast of Bandar Abbas, Iran,’ announced the US Navy.
