You see, my dog is having health problems and must be carried downstairs by hand to do her business, which she does admirably, especially in choosing to take a dump under the balcony window of the first-floor neighbors. The aforesaid neighbor made a lamentable appearance out of nowhere just as the dog was putting on the finishing touches of improving the fertilizer content for soil enrichment under Romeo's window. 'Romeo' wasn't appreciative, and these neighbors indeed were unfortunate enough to live directly below us and have always gone about with Easter Island faces that always seemed struck mute in displeasure. And of course, the typical lazy dog walker that I am hoped that no one would notice and that the excellent dvornik would sweep away the evidence the following morning. No such luck, for in reply to my 'здравствуйте,' I only got, 'Надо обирать!' That I did after I fished out of the car an old paper sack and whisked away the mess into the trash can below the first-floor windows.
